Happy Birthday!!

I just wanted to say Happy Birthday to my Husband. He is the best husband ever. I couldn't ask for anyone better. He is always there for me and willing to help out whenever needed. He helps take care of the house and also helps with laundry and dinner when I am at work. I feel so lucky to have him as a husband. He is also a great dad to Tyson and I am so glad that they get time to spend together during the week while I am at work.

Swimming

Tonight we took Tyson in the pool for the first time. He absolutely loved it. All he wanted to do was splash and kick. I think it is going to be quite a fun summer with him and the pool. I also just signed us up for swimming lessons so that should be a fun thing too.

Easter Weekend

This last weekend we went up to visit my parents in Utah. We had so much fun and my mom's flowers were so pretty we had to get a picture of us by them. Tyson is in his new easter outfit.

5 Months Already

So Tyson is 5 months old now. I can't believe how

fast time goes by. My mom and dad came down

His great-grandma and grandpa bought him this high-chair. He love it, and it is nice to have him in it at the table instead of trying to hold him or put him in his bumbo.

He is getting so big. We weighed him the other day and he weight about 15 lbs 4 oz. He is also sitting up by himself more and more. And I can say we finally get a good nights rest. Most of the time he will sleep about 9 hrs wake up to eat and then go back down for about 3 more. It is awsome. I feel like a new person with getting so much rest.

Here is a little video of Tyson laughing the other day. I am so glad that we caught it on camera. I love his little laugh and he is starting to do it more and more all of the time. I can't believe how fast time has gone by and that he is 4 1/2 months old.

Our new bed

So Mike and I decided for our anniversary this year that we were going to buy a new mattress. We debated over buying a Queen to fit our bed or upgrading to a King size. Well after much debate we decided to go with the king and that we would just get a new bedroom set eventually. So for now we were just going to go without a headboard.

We then went out shopping for a new bedspread. Much to our suprise we found one we liked at JCPenny for 75% off. This was great. They also had an idea of making a headboard out of the valence. We decided that this sounded like a pretty good idea so we went to get all of the stuff for the headboard. We also changed our minds about using the valence and went with just getting some new material. It was actually a fun little project and I think it turned out quite well. We both love our new bed and loved being creative together. Thanks honey for the help.

Hanging out with Dad

Mike takes care of Tyson about 3 times a week while I go to work. He tries to keep him very entertained so that he won't get too fussy. So here are a few pictures of him while Dad was in charge.

He is going to be a piano player. At least I hope that he will take lessons.

Tyson is getting so big. He is now 4 months old and has become quite smiley. He is doing really well at rolling over and smiling and laughing all of the time. He still isn't sleeping that well, only about 5hrs at night but I guess it will come. It doesn't help that he is teething.

This is the new hat that Grandma Susan bought him. He looks so cute in it although it is a little big.
